The combined Dining Area and kitchen has a dining table and chairs for 4 connected to one side of the kitchen work surface and these are positioned in front of almost floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows, making it exceptionally bright during daylight hours. The well-equipped kitchen has 5-ring electric hob with an extract over, oven, microwave, large Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher and all the crockery, cutlery, glass, cooking utensils, pans and more that you will need during your stay. The washer/dryer is located in a cupboard in the main hallway.
As you step out of the Living area, the elegant and spacious Bedroom is just down the hallway towards the rear of the building and, like all rooms in the building, has central heating and double-glazed windows. This is spacious, quiet One Bedroom Apartment is in an amazing location in South Kensington, just 4 minutes’ walk from Gloucester Road station and close to most of London’s main museums – the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum. There is a wide range of restaurants with a variety of cuisines and budgets to suit all tastes in South Kensington. Cromwell Road leading to Harrod’s and Knightsbridge is right outside. London’s main sights – Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, London’s theatres, the Tower of London and much more are easily accessed quickly and directly from Gloucester Road tube station, making this a great base for touring central London. There is a wide range of restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets within 2-5 minutes’ walk.

Gloucester Road has the restaurants and coffee shops of many major brands many just 1 minute from the mews house. Also on Gloucester Road and just 2-minutes’ from the mews house, you can find The Hereford Arms – a very atmospheric pub. Walk a little further along Stanhope Gardens and Harrington Road to the area around South Kensington station and you will find yourself truly spoilt for choice from the wide range of restaurants close by in South Kensington, with restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines to suit a wide range of budgets.
South Kensington is one of the more exclusive residential areas of central London and it’s really not hard to see why. We stay for over 2 weeks and have some meals in. There could be more instruction for operating the appliances and items like an oven mitt and pans to reheat food.. The living room carpet could use some freshening up.
